Trader Joe’s of Batavia, Illinois

I stopped by Trader Joe’s about a year ago in nearby Batavia, Illinois to see what all the fuss was about with this nationally acclaimed store. The store is located in a mall at the corner of Randall Road and Fabyan Parkway in the far western suburbs of Chicago. The store is relatively small compared to larger grocery chains such as Jewelers and Meijer. The store is even smaller than the upscale Whole Foods and New Market. The possibility of finding a nearby car park in bad weather was not to be done, as I got up far from the door and proceeded with the kids in tow. I will say that the parking lot is much easier than the high street parking in the big markets we are used to.

Upon entering the store, we were greeted with happy smiles and cheers from the Trader Joe associates. We grabbed the cart and the flyer. The flyer was throwing out the highlights and recommendations of the time and we quickly scanned the flyer and went down around each of the galleries. The store is not very large so we were able to go through literally every aisle and even manage to consume a few samples of the food. The staff who served samples of my children enjoy the food seemed to make them smile. I would say the store is doing a great job of hiring the right people to interact with customers. The atmosphere at Trader Joe’s was very light because of the dark rainy day as the crew had on some touristy outfits and you felt more like a little upbeat shopping in the store.

Food Quality and Price

My visit to Trader Joe’s involved buying dried strawberries (as in spotted bird) and mango ice tea< /a> bags for cooking. The goods we bought were of the best quality so that we used strawberries as a cereal and as a means of day snacks. My kids really enjoyed them and I will be back for another purchase of these while they don’t last very long.

The iced tea was very refreshing, which I had tasted before on offer at the guest house. We swear by this tea that only costs $1.99 per box. Trader Joe’s offers a lot of delicious food items for reasonable prices, although some of their items have very high prices. their offerings cado more naturally based and some exotic offerings that can be difficult to find in your career. mill chain store I would say this store is a combination of Market Source/Whole Foods/ and World Plus Market.

Trader Joe’s has a fresh market or feel food with some trendier foods selling offerings in terms of soups, condiments. nor wines. I will also mention the abundance of Whole Foods influence since many things are organic and preservative free. Trader Joe’s seems international with its retail goods as each stall reveals international specialties whether buying authentic tamales, naan bread or Jamaican coffee I plan to make a return visit to try some new things, such as the flavors of Trader Joe’s soda, the various ingredient stuffed ravioli, and even the famous two goat chuck wine. The store will not replace the reliance on visits to large chain grocery stores, although it will provide shoppers with some exotic options for everyday meals.
