HBO announced in July that True Blood had been picked up for a third season, set to begin in June 2010, but now that season two of True Blood are dead and gone (pun intended), fans can’t help but wonder – What the heck will happen on season 3 of true blood ?
True Sookie Stackhouse Mysteries by author Charlaine Harris – Guilty Dead will be based on Southern Vampire Mysteries aka Sookie Stackhouse Mysteries by author Charlaine Harris – Club Dead (for review nine books in the series, read A Review of Charlaine Harris’s Southern Vampire Mysteries and Dead and Gone (A Southern Vampire Myster aka Sookie Stackhouse Novel) by Charlaine Harris).
At the end of the last episode of True Blood season 2 (recap read here) Bill seems to have been kidnapped. The book ClubDead begins with Bill going on a mission for the Queen of Louisiana. nor return. Sookie discovers that she has been kidnapped and sets out to find help. Mississippi travels in the company of one Alcide Herveaux – a contractor who owes Eric.
Alcide has something special about him, though – he makes hairy (snickers – yet another pun). Alcide is a Were – a shape shifter who turns into a wolf – yep werewolf. Alcide is definitely an alpha male and I hope they bring such a character on board in Blood 3 season and give him a lot of screen time as he is charming in the novels and warm and toasty opposite the vampire loves in Sookie’s life. .
Alcide becomes yet another love interest for Sookie as she struggles with anger and betrayal, Bill’s abduction (in The Guilty Dead, Bill left Sookie with his maker, Lorena – who abducted and tortured him) and her feelings for Eric and Alcidenes.
Several new characters are introduced in Club of the Dead, and according to True Blood season 3 spoilers in True Blood a href=”https://e-info.vn/tag/white-river-state-park”> state vampire Franklin Mott and the white‘s toy shape shifter Peter Pelt (ex-sponsor Alcide Herveaux – who is bound to have more bite and role than given in the books).
Oddly enough, while these characters were mentioned, not Alcide – but Alan Ball – the creative force behind the television series True Blood has indicated that there will be a season three installment of the franchise. We hope so. Update: Sexy Joe Manganiello will play Werewolf Alcide Herveaux in season 3 of True Blood.
For fans who adore the relationship between Sookie and Bill – it’s hard to say where that will go. Club of the Dead saw the breakup of the couple and the rest of the book series as Sookie finds new love interests. True blood could go in any direction. Maybe Sookie will be drawn closer to Eric or maybe she’ll bite the undead and go to Sam or someone else.
Who will be from the two previous seasons of True Blood, and who will not return? We know for sure that Godric and Maryann are dead, but who knows on television? Those characters could easily show up in dream sequences and flashbacks. It seems that everyone else will be back again with some new faces.
What remains is: There is a miracle around every corner with true blood. It will be interesting to see what direction True Blood season 3 will go – it’s bound to be a wild ride.
