Turn Your Photo into a Painting Using Magix Photo Clinic

You can turn any photo into a painting using Magix Photo Clinic. Most image editors only allow one type of painting. But in Magix Photo Clinic you can use different brushes and settings to apply different paint looks. In this guide I will show you how to turn your photo in a painting using Magix Photo Clinic. I will walk you through each step of this guide so beginners can follow along too. First, you will need to open the photo that you are going to use. If you do not know how to open a photo, follow these steps.

Step 1 – Go to the top of your window and click File > Open.

Step 2 – Locate the photo that you want to use in the window.

Step 3 – Click the photo and click Open.

How to Turn your Photo into a Painting

Now you are ready to begin the transformation. Go to the top of your window and click Effects > Art Filter > Paint. That will turn your photo into a painting. But you will notice a toolbar opened on the right of your screen. This is where we are going to apply the different paint effects. We will work mostly in the brush area. You can create many different looks just by changing the type of brush that you use.

In your toolbar you will see different tabs. Click on the Brush tab. In the Selection area you will see the Load Brush button. Click that button to change the type of brush you are using. A window will open and you will see the different types of brushes available. Click on a brush and click Open. Continue going through the brushes to change the look of your painting.

You can see the actual brushes before selecting them by changing the view of the files. To do this, click the Load Brush button. When the window pops up, click the blue icon at the top of the window. When the menu drops down, select thumbnails. That will turn your brushes into thumbnails so you can see what you are selecting.

You can also change the look of the painting by moving the relief and density bars. Moving these two bars will change the entire look of the painting. Click the Size tab to change the size of the brushes. This will also change the look of the painting.

Clicking the Direction tab and changing the settings will change the look of the painting also. There are so many paintings that you can create in Magix Photo Clinic. There are so many brushes and then on top of that you have all of these different settings. Play around with the brushes and settings to get the look that you are going for.
