At any time of the day, I am aware of the possibility of going into one of the many “drinking shops” around town. For around 1 euro, you can enjoy beer, wine or palinka, a traditional Hungarian fruit brandy. Please be reminded that there is no tolerance for drinking and driving in Hungary.
