Urban Decay Get Baked Palette

I almost lost this palette before I left, but while traveling this summer, I was sure to find it worth the splurge. If you’re already into the Urban Decay palettes, you probably don’t need this, but for those who aren’t, this is the perfect palette for summer and the beach.

COLO FILTER CULTIVATE

Get Baked Palette with four eyeshadow shades (Double Baked, Half Baked, Flipside, and Baked) and a sample of the 24/7 Slip-On Eye Pencil in Bourbon, a dark, deep brown. You have to start from the left and have it cooked twice. Regarding the colors, this is probably the least favorite, although it is necessary, but it is brilliant. It is a little lighter than the Bourbon, but with the same undertones and a great line of color or even to define a crease. The next color is tied for my favorite with Pisto because they are very similar. Half baked has more of a golden metallic tone, while baked has a yellow metallic tone. The flipside is that it’s a funky color made from the sky as a pop of color on the lower lash line, and it complements the other colors brilliantly. The bourbon will have a more accurate lead later, but color wise, I honestly don’t think so with these colors. I think a lighter brown or even Flipside 24/7 would look beachier.

PREFACE

Bis Pistus doesn’t have a light consistency, but the other three glide on like butter and have extreme pigmentation. Twice Cook isn’t bad comparatively speaking, just not up to par with the other three colors being easier. These stay on all day and blend very easily and work into sleep. A little goes a long way, and these will last a long time.

Functionality

For summer I see this as my dream palette. I think it is useless in winter. But in every use you will have it is worth it in the summer. The palette is super portable and holds everything nicely and since the shadows are so easy to work with, you can easily re-apply after taking a dip in the ocean.

PACKAGING

It is baked in a yellow box with paisley almost design element, forming the name in a line across the blue front. As mentioned before, it is solid in the pots and it is cloudy to the eyes. I carried this around in a bag and everything is fine. The eye pencil is a little slot, but if you were into it, you can easily apply a few sponge tip applicators or a small brush in it.

price

Urban Decay no longer sells the Baked Palette, but it is available on eBay for about $20. Considering you have four eyeliners, eyeliner, and a travel-sized classic drink in Sin, I think this is a great deal.

Last opinions

While I’m not a game-on-the-beach vacation, I can see this as a summer makeup story for those of you who are. It’s a natural sun-kissed look and played up or down with the use of Bourbon and Flipside. Again, my palette doesn’t see much in the winter, but it will be a great item in the summer. I’m really sad that Urban Decay has discontinued this. If you find this and are looking for that perfect summer look, I highly recommend it – you’ll get lots of use out of it.
