Valleyfair – Shakopee, Minnesota

It was a birthday weekend. I was born on June 1, 1962. This event happened on my forty-seventh birthday. My daughter and I decided to do a mother/daughter weekend. We decided to go to the Casino, stay in the hotel and go to Amusement-parks”>Amusement in Shakopee, Minnesota next day.

Checked out of our hotel in the morning. I can’t remember what time the amusement park opened, but the time we got there, it was open and open. they were bystanders.

I, no stranger to the park, have been there many times before. It opened when I was 13, as I remember. I think my trips are sponsored by churches quite regularly and it has quickly become a place to take your kids so my friends parents are happy they brought us to play there. ordered to be there a million I think it was opened in the first summer.

My daughter has been there several times. A big attraction around Valleyfair used to be that they added a new ride every year, so you were sure to have the opportunity to try a new ride every time you went.

He loves roller coaster rides and we went to ride as many as we could. You see, you pay a certain amount and then you get unlimited rides on any ride you want. There are a few rides out there that you pay to ride outside of, but since you’re on them, they’re a one-on-one type of attraction, that is, they train you on how to behave on the ride and instruct you on what to do.

One of my daughters would go by the name Ripcord. You basically got strapped into a lifejacket type harness. They took you up in the air, picked up various stories, and when they set you up to fly, you waited a very short time, pulled out the ripcord, and stopped to swing.

So here we were. I’m waiting in line. As for me, there is no departure. I was going to watch her do it. Illustrious last thoughts, it seems. I told him that I would watch. He was praying. You lie, she is 21 years old. I stopped. She was also employed as a riding instructor to promote riding skills. Read the instructions posted on the side. He said you couldn’t be in it if you suspected you were pregnant. ‘I think I’m pregnant -‘ I told him.

He won’t believe me.

So there I was, in the arms that reminded me of a life jacket. Like the object that I was standing on, it reminded me of a rope attachment for waterskiing. I took my glasses and put them in a tub with my stuff and placed them on the shelf on the floor.

We hook the hooks on the back of our harness. So the floor was lowered and we hung there, waiting. Then they begin to pull us uphill. I looked down, miserable. Thank goodness I didn’t bring my glasses. I’m afraid of heights, but there was no intense protein in the glasses. Thank you!

Then they told him to pull the rope. We began to fall. There was a momentary feeling of falling through the air, then we were caught up in a whirlwind and twisted. I swore a little as we began to lean. I can’t say I want to go again. My daughter said she loved and thanked me for what I was doing with her.

We also went on a few roller coaster rides. We are not on any real mind boggling rides. We waited in line for a few rides, but the wait was minimal.

the weather that day was clear and warm. Minnesota has a tendency to be hot and humid and the vendor supplying water throughout the day supplies. I did it for myself. Will I go to Valleyfair again? Yes. Will I go to Ripcord again? Well Perhaps.
