What a hassle! bed skirt take it off, wash it, put it on. But it looks so beautiful – and hides under the bed – who doesn’t have it today? If you knew how much better life was with a Velcro bed skirt, though, you’d never go back to your old style. No one wants to move the mattress to change the sheets and never again. Plus, it takes a lot of work to make a new bed frame but, with Velcro, it’s as easy as cutting a piece of cloth.
No one likes a velcro bed skirt. If you want to make your own, it’s very easy because you don’t need a piece of fabric that goes between the box spring and the mattress. And, rather than pulling out the bed and moving the mattress, you can simply attach the bed frame to the box spring.
Peel-n-stick Velcro is such a wonderful thing. Measure along one side of the long bed, from the top corner to the bottom corner, and cut two ties lengthwise. Measure across the bottom of the mattress, and cut one piece to be that size. Each velcro strip peels off and adheres to the mattress. Place the parts so that they are as close as possible.
A very long cloth; It will likely be spun into pieces one at a time until there is enough. Measure from one top corner of the bed, side down, across the bottom, and back to the opposite top corner.
