The first step is to clean your painted or vintage can. Simply wash them with hot water and soap.

Now use your lead snips to open the rock can. I like to cut in the top of the back, after I used an opener to remove the bottom of the can.

Use a mallet or rubber mallet to make your vintage pr painted lead can.

Cut out the paper that is the same size you want to make your window frame. Use this as a guide to help you design a vintage painted tin can.

Now, once you have your model set up, use your nail tool to poke holes in the overlapping pieces of the tin.

Next, use the lines that are connected to the pieces to form a window frame.

Continue to use the hole in the top right and top left of the window to store the rivet.

Run hot glue beads on the edge of the painted vintage lead can panel. Cut your ribbon into four pieces, while each piece is a window frame. Place half of the ribbon on the front of the vintage tin plate and press the glue. Repeat four times.

Now, flip a piece of vintage painted lead can board over the window. Gluten glue on each side of the back vintage lin. Press the other half of the uitta in the back. This color will add something more to your vintage leaded window treatment as well as give you a beautiful finished edge.

You can skip this step if you want though! Use a metal file to sand down any rough edges of the vintage lead paint.

Insert the 20-inch ribbon through each hole you made in the top left and top right corners.
