1. Choose the right Color
Rooms in your home that only have one window in them can look dull and dreary. To transform these rooms into brighter, happier places, choose a light paint color. Yellow is a common choice to brighten up dark rooms. Or you can choose white, blue, or pink, to name a few popular colors. They render bright colors better than dull ones, and they also paint a flat type.

2. Raise Low Ceilings
