Ways to Hydrate and Cure Dry Hair

We all have our bad hair days, but for some it feels like we are having a bad hair life. Maybe you have straight hair that has no volume or frizzy hair that won’t calm down. For many of our bad hair days, there is a simple solution. Dry hair can cause frizz, fly aways, split ends, and brittle hair. All of these symptoms can result from dry hair. The solution? Get rid of dry hair and keep it moist and beautiful.

There are many basic and simple precautions you can take to avoid dry hair that you might not realize are so simple yet so beneficial. First of all, processing your hair with heat from a blow dryer, plat irons, and curling irons can really dry out and damage your hair. Try to let your hair air dry whenever you can. If you must blow dry, use it on a low heat or use a diffuser. Also, try not to flat iron or curl your hair, except on special occasions if you must. Over time, heat can really damage your hair. If you can stop using it all together, you will probably be able to see a difference eventually. Try cutting out a shampoo once and week and increase until you feel like your hair is more hydrated or until you feel you need to shampoo.
