The holidays are almost here, and this year you promised yourself that you didn’t want to waste your leftover turkey… But what are you going to do?
Easy! There are so many websites that have some great things left over in Turkey. turkey”>Remains of Turkey!
Ingredients
1 1/2 c. chopped Cooked Turkey
I diced an avocado
1 (28 oz) tomato, pitted whole
1 (4 oz) can of whole green chili peppers
1 c. shredded cheese
2 chopped Roma (plum) tomatoes
1 chopped onion
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 tbsp. from lime juice
1/2 tsp. about cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp.of ground cumin
salt and pepper to taste
4 c. about vegetable broth
1/2 tsp. dried cilantro
Directions
First, you want to take a large pot over a medium flame.
Now mix the turkey, broth, canned tomatoes, green chilies, fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic, lime juice.
Then you want to season with cayenne, cumin, salt and pepper.
You want to bring this to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for approx.15 to 20 minutes.
Then you can add in the avocado and cilantro, and cook for another 15 to 20 minutes, until the soup is thickened.
Ladle into bowls and serve.
Add alum cheese for extra oomph!

The rest of the TURKEY CASSEROLE
4 c. Turkey, cooked & I fell sm. pieces
2 c. macaroni
4 c. Turkish broth or chicken broth
1 c. Velveeta cheese (about)
6 slices of bread, cooked
1 stick of melted butter
Prepared turkey in 8″x13″ pan. The macaron is layered over turkey cooked in water until it is done and drunk. He heats it right in the pan and then thickens the dough, then add the Velveeta cheese and heat until the cheese is melted and has a very cheesy taste. Pour over macaron and turkey.
Break the toast. Melt the butter in a pan, add the broken toast, and stir until the butter has been absorbed by the bread. Spread over the casserole. Heat in a 350 degree oven until heated through for about 30 minutes.

TIP ~ If you have more turkey leftovers than you need to use in a recipe, just put the rest in the freezer. bag and put in the freezer, it will keep for up to 3 months and is great as a turkey sandwich!
Excess turkey and stuffing
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. oppressed natives
I can cream of tomato soup
1/2 of the soup can be water
1 1/2 c. cooked food
4 servings, sliced turkey
1/4 c. grated cheese
Cook onion and oregano with butter until tender. Add the soup and water. In a thin baking dish, spread the stuffing, top with the sliced turkey. Pour the soup mixture over the turkey and sprinkle with the cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until hot. Saves 4

Leftover turkey a la King
Ingredients
2nd Cup Turkey
Peanut Butter Cup (salted)
1/2 cup flour
5 Cubes of Chicken Bouillon
3 cups of water
1 Bag of Mixed Vegetables
Cut in the butter and place in a Dutch oven over medium heat to melt. Add flour and chicken bouillon to the flour. Add water until it thickens to the thickness of a sauce. Add the rest of the turkey and vegetables, and simmer for about 1/2 hour, checking the consistency often and adding water if necessary. Or you can use store bought biscuits or homemade to pour the sauce over the chicken. Makes it hard and quick for dinner.

Lunch Leftover Turkey Casserole
Ingredients
10 ounces of turkey
1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Sauce
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 Can Green Chilies
16 6-inch, corn tortillas, cut into strips
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine chicken soup, mushroom soup, chilies and sour cream.
3. Line the bottom of an 8×12 inch pan with corn tortillas. Make a layer with the turkey. Pour the soup mixture over the turkey, sprinkle with 1/2 of the cheese. Repeat layers and top with cheddar cheese. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes.
