Where to Eat in Myrtle Beach

If you’re looking for a down home atmosphere with fantastic Southern- style cuisine, The Farmer’s Galley in South Myrtle Beach is the place for you to eat. They feature a fabulous buffet layout, with many fine selections to choose from. They have a meat carving station, Southern-style friend chicken, shrimp, and much more available all you can eat. You can even purchase fresh crab legs. In my opinion, these are the best crab legs on the beach. Both times I have eaten here, the waitress said the crab legs were just brought in that morning. Now that’s talking fresh! This restaurant is competitively priced with the surrounding restaurants in the area. Located just minutes from the campgrounds on the south end of the beach, this is definitely a must try buffet.

The Original Captain Benjamin’s Seafood Buffet is often duplicated but never the original. This restaurant has the reputation to back it. It has won several Best of the Beach Awards for years. Situated on the North Myrtle Beach end, and butted up against a waterway, this restaurant offers breathtaking views. You can sit on the patio and watch boats sail in and out, or even enjoy sitting outside of the bar before dinner. This buffet features everything, even shark meat available for you to try! They have several different types of fish, pasta, carving station, shrimp and chicken prepared in different ways, and much more. Benjamin’s will surely please your pallet. Enjoy all you can eat crab legs that are large in size and very fresh. This is one restaurant locals and tourists alike can’t get enough of. Don’t forget to say hello to the pirate out front!

Mammy’s Kitchen is like going to your grandparents house for breakfast or dinner! The down home Southern atmosphere is like no other, and they always make you feel at home. Just minutes from the beach, Mammy’s has cheap prices, and their $4.99 breakfast buffet can’t be beat! They are open for breakfast and dinner and feature all the down home Southern cooking you can eat. At night, you can find all your seafood favorites. Mammy’s has been a part of the beach for a very long time. It is located just north of where the Pavillion was formerly located.

Located in Murrell’s Inlet just south of Myrtle Beach, Flo’s Place is sure to please. The New Orleans style decor will entertain you, while the food is just as delectable. Sit out on the deck right beside the inlet and watch the tide roll in and out. This restaurant is very competitively priced, and cheaper than most. Food comes in heaping portions. They feature dishes such as crawfish in the shell, fried pickles, huge hamburgers, and many other things. Make sure to try Flo’s Green Sauce while you are there, its fantastic. For good food and a good time, try Flo’s next time your in the Myrtle Beach area.
