Where to Find Hayrides in Massachusetts

Living in in New England fall hayrides were always a favorite thing for my family and I to do when the leaves started turning brown. With the fall season right around the corner and holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving coming up many ranches and farms across Massachusetts are offering Fall Hayrides through the country foliage along with Haunted Hayrides for Halloween. The following is a list of places to go this season for Hayrides on Massachusetts.

Arrowhead Acres –

Located on a 37 acre estate in Worcester County, and within driving distance of Providence, Rhode Island, Worcester and Boston, Massachusetts, Arrowhead Acres offers hayrides year round for everyone from couples to large groups from schools or scout troops. The Hayrides are generally reserved in advance and the amount of time you want to go on the ride varies based on the trip you plan with them. You can also plan a birthday, wedding or corporate event at the facilities.

Crowleys Stables –

Located in Agawam, Massachusetts within driving distance of Springfield, Massachusetts and Hartford, Connecticut Crowleys Stables offers private hayrides through the woods surrounding their large farm and stables. You can see some really beautiful backwoods here individually or with a large group. You can also camp out here or stay in the lodge on the grounds. Reservations are required in advance and the scenic and haunted hayrides book up fast.

Bobby’s Ranch –

Bobby’s Ranch has been in Westford, Massachusetts since 1972 and is a favorite spot to go to for hayrides through the countryside. Bobby’s is convenient if driving from from any of the big city’s and tourist destinations along the Eastern Seaboard like Boston, Gloucester, Quincy and Salem, and within 20 minutes of the New Hampshire state line. The ranch offers private hayrides by reservation and offers specials on their website as Halloween and Thanksgiving get closer. Bobby’s Ranch is proud of their cowboy image and promises a special time for you and your family whether you are visiting for a hayride or just to take a ride on the trails with their horses.

Krochmal Farms –

Located in Tewksbury, Massachusetts Krochmal Farms offers lots of fun for you and your family this holiday season. On October 16th, 17th, 23rd, 25th and 30th from 7PM – 10PM there will be a Haunted Hayride through the deep, dark woods that promises to give you the best scare for Halloween. Admission to this event is $15 per person. You can also reserve a horse drawn hayride any time this Fall for couples to large groups through the Autumn woods of Massachusetts. Krochel Farms also offers sleigh rides on or off property in the winter months when the snow starts to fall. Fall hayrides and sleigh rides are by reservation only.
