Glue. All the glue for the school case will glue the three Styrofoam balls together, the eyes, the mouth, the balls, and glue the balls.

Poms. Any color of pom poms will work as buttons for the front of the snowman. Two small black pom poms will work for the eyes and the snowman’s mouth.

Hat. The hat was a hat from any Ken doll fashion accessories. If a bandana hat is available in the same size, it will also work.

A knife or cutting tool. A knife or cutting tool will cut the Styrofoam balls to create an even surface to hold the balls together.

Two bushes. Use the vines to make a snowman lizard.

Building a Styrofoam Ball Snowman

NOTE: Only two balls cut through the Styrofoam will be needed for this step. Read the following paragraph very carefully.

Use a knife to cut a small curved section to a flat surface at the top and bottom of the three buttons. You will only need to cut about half an inch by one inch from each button. Except the top of the ball is Styrofoam for the head, because the hat or hat will sit on top of the ball. This will make the snowman stand up straight and allow the three balls to stay connected.

Place one or two toothpicks on top of the bottom of the ball and the middle of the Styrofoam ball. Cover the bottom of the ball completely with glue. Do not cover the toothpaste with glue. Roll a styrofoam ball in shiny opalescent plastic; completely cover Repeat this with the other two Styrofoam balls. Before the balls are dried.

While the glittery Styrofoam balls are drying, put more glue around the flat area where the toothpicks are placed on the two balls for the bottom of the snowman. Place the second ball on the bottom one. Place the highest ball on top of the other two balls.

Place the pom pom eyes, mouth, and ball on the snowman. Insert the branch arms into the second ball on the sides.

Doing noses

Take one piece, about half an inch, pressed out of orange clay, and roll it into the shape of a cone. Break the toothpick in half. Insert one end into the nose of the pyramid. Put a drop or two of glue on the nose, and put the top of the toothpick between the eyes and the mouth.

Glue a hat on top or a cap on top of the snowman’s head. Straight pins can be used instead of glue for a cap or hat.

Place fluffed batting around the bottom of the snowman to create a snow mound effect. Which happens after the place of the Class has been chosen. The example does not have to be glued to the snowman.
