Dalmatians are not very well known or hard of hearing. But this is simply not true. The breed is energetic, active, quick, intelligent, & the happiest around & pleasing the people. Hunting and working dogs are like hunting and working, and for this reason they are excellent family dogs or show dogs . . They perform in agility shows, obedience competitions, and of course are subtle gestures or companions fire. Over the years, Dalmatians have been war dogs, shepherds, herders, bird dogs and retrievers.
Dalmatians have short, shiny and thick coats, which are usually spotted with white or black or liver. They usually weigh somewhere between 50 – 55 pounds. Do not try to train your Dalmatian pet part of the time, or whenever you have a little free time, because the result will not be happy. Dalmatians need constant and constant training to be the companion you are looking for.

Take your Dalmatian pet to the vet regularly, as there are a number of problems that are generally quite common. They include diseases and disorders such as skin allergies , hip problems, bladder stones and arthritis.
Dalmatians are curious and industrious by nature. They are not “sit in front of the fire” or “sit on the front porch” dogs. If something is going on, look around and see what all the business is about. They meet the world head in and rush out. Owners need to remain patient and calm when in training mode.
Caring for your coat Dalmatian pet is easy. Often, even every day, as they are used to pouring out the year. They are usually free of animal odor, but they should be washed every three or four months, unless they are dirty. Use natural pet food shampoo and keep it out of eyes and ears. If you don’t want to spend time with your pet, exercise it, or think about leaving it alone in the backyard, it’s OK for you, maybe you shouldn’t get a Dalmatian, because you won’t be happy with either. If you have the patience to train them and keep energy with them Dalmatians are ideal pets for the whole family. As you will find, the Dalmatian is a well trained dog.
