Yu-Gi-Oh’s Newest Structure Deck: Machine Re-Volt

In the final episodes of the Yu-Gi-Oh anime, Yugi Moto turns against his greatest enemy! During the show, Yugi belonged to a duel personality called “Pharaoh” and later his name was revealed to be Atem. In the final duel of the series, Atem is separated from Yugi and they face each other in a duel. While using many of the famous Yu-gi-Oh staple cards like Monster Reborn, and Egyptian God cards, they also put together a small Yugi deck. In this outfit, he uses monsters named Gadgets, and finally overcomes his greatest enemy.

Everything is fine and dandy but as we all know things in the real world are not always the same. in the television series. So when Gadgets was released recently, people were wondering how they would fare in today’s tournament. Gadgets like the other devices released in the news structure, the Re-Volt Machine does not disappoint!

Machine Re-Volt is the latest build deck release, and is full of awesome monsters and magic cards that are necessary for any good competitive engine style decl. It’s also the only place where you can get a copy of every Monster Gadget used by Yugi, as well as twelve all-new never-before-released cards with Monster Gadgets. I consider this structure to be my most powerful modern relaxation.

Gadgets are really good cards themselves. Green Gadget, Yellow Gadget and Red Gadget all arise to search and find another Gadget of another color. Also, new trap cards like the moving Citadel revolve around providing defense and having great effects for Gadgets in play. Moving Castle Defense is a trap that becomes a creature with 2000 defense and if Gadgets are in play, it gets +3000 attack. Pretty huh?

There are also two brand new monsters that revolve around Gadgets, such as the Ancient Chimera Gadjiltron and the Ancient Dragon Gear Gadiltron. They each have powerful effects and are even more powerful if they are brought to you by casting and Gadget monsters. They receive similar effects, attack points, deal direct damage, and deal burst damage to defend mode creatures. These cards are amazing, but they add more to this structure then just Gadgets and their counterparts.

Ancient monsters also make Gear, along with magically designed tools that can raise their powers. Old Gear Golem is played here, and his burst damage effect, 3000 attack and ability to deal with magical opponents and trap cards make him a formidable foe. Moving Gear Golem Citadel has a whopping 2200 defense to delay attacks and Old Gear Beast puts an end to any of those evil monsters’ effects.

With all these monsters, you can call it a problem, or keeping the monsters on the field. Well, this deck offers a variety of magical techniques to help you. The Ancient Gear Fist will arm any Ancient Gear monster and destroy any monster that fights you. Gear Workshop Gear Ancient Gear will bring the monster back to life from the grave. And the Ancient Gear of the Tower will allow you to summon tall creatures with ancient armor without taking any damage on your side of the field.

Other good favorites from the deck include Gear Drill, the rare Metalmorph, and Limiter removal. Ancient Gear Training will allow you to find magic cards from within your deck and use them in the next turn, very nice as it will give you something to search and draw power. The rare Metalmorph will raise the attack of any machine by 500 and has a good effect of keeping your machine alive when targeted by a pivot. Limit removal is the most powerful engine card in the game, and because this is decorated around the wonderful mechanics Limiter vice right in. For one, this doubles the card, meaning it doubles the attack of all your machine-type monsters you control. Decline is after your machine has been sent to the stake, but your opponent is dead by then.

There are so many combinations, combinations and ways to decorate this that it’s amazing. You can combine the base of this deck with XY and Z dragon, cannon, and dragon and their fusion more options. The engines are powerful, and with this new structure they are equipped with more boost. Anyone who is a duelist in the game at this point, or who wants to capture and enter the player at this point, defiantly throw one of the Commencements. It has a good base, and the backing papers are awesome!
