If you’re like me, you’re constantly battling cold sores, canker sores, and other types of painful sores that plague your mouth. There are some very healthy, natural and effective things you can do at home to help fight the nagging oral problem, along with bad breath. Below are a few suggestions for natural mouthwashes that I have tried over the years. These are the results of what I imagine about myself after I found myself dying from my store bought. . I included alcohol when I really felt I needed a stronger formula with extra anti-bacterial properties. You can keep it mixed if it is stronger.
Cinn-minty Mouthwash
This is a sweet taste with plenty of anti-bacterial properties to help keep your gums healthy. I love the combination of cinnamon and mint. I found a very mild mint in my cancer too! Peppermint with a spear is great because it soothes and stimulates the gums at the same time.
2 cups of water
3 sends cinnamon oil

3 drops peppermint oil
3 or 4 drops tea tree oil
1 tsp vodka
Swish this in your mouth for 30 to 60 seconds and rinse it off inside. Be careful not to absorb it! It is welcome, but strong!

Alcohol Free Baking Soda Mint Mouthwash
This is just a great refresher, you can use mouthwash to help with bad breath, or to facilitate healing. any mouth sores. This is also nice for those who are trying to avoid any alcohol in the recipe. I like this one because I enjoy the extra clean feeling that the soda gives. Nothing cleans like baking soda!
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 drop of pure pepper oil
tea tree oil
2 oz. water
Mix well, then simmer for a short time and light.
Alcohol Free Clove and Rose Mouthwash
This mouthwash is especially nice because of the rosemary. Rosemary has many benefits that help when used topically for oral care and other uses as well. Cloves provide anti-fungal, anti-viral and antiseptic properties, which contribute greatly to the effectiveness of this mouthwash. It is pleasant to the palate and free and pleasant. If you are a lover of tears, this mouthwash is a hit! My husband is a big clove lover and really enjoys this stuff!
1 oz Cloves
3 oz. Roris
Glass Jars cover
2 cups of water
Boil water in a pan. While the water is boiling, place the Rosemary and Caryophyllum in the pot. When the water comes to a boil, pour it into the jar with the herbs and let it sit overnight. Drain and use in the morning.
Myrrh Miny
This mouthwash is particularly beneficial for those with bleeding gums. Myrrh is best known for its astringent qualities. Sore throat is known for its anti-inflammatory benefits, so gargling it can be beneficial. I found this mouthwash to be quite mild.
X sends oil of myrrh
10 drops of peppermint oil
3 lemon oil

4 or 5 oz. or vodka or brandy
Just do a quick swish and light up for a soothing and refreshing sensation in your mouth. He is also strong enough not to swallow.
Fennel and Fruit Mouthwash
If you’re a lover of anise flavor, this mouthwash will be right up your alley. The cane mixed with the fruit from the grapefruit oil makes this a different, but delightful flavor. Cane used topically is a good antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent for sore, bleeding gums. Just nice that every day mouthwash to new things. Replace with water again if you are trying to stay away from the arc.
