The Fort Community YMCA offers outdoor fitness classes; cardio-kick-boxes, plenty of good weight equipment, and a nice aerobics station that can sometimes be packed with members. There is a pool and spinning classes and the property offers free towels.

The people using this gym are laid back and the staff are very friendly.

Buchanan is probably the quietest YMCA in San Francisco, they are almost always empty and the staff is super-friendly. Buchanan is small, but it has almost everything you need to get a solid workout through cardio and weights. There are free parking spaces across the street in Japan.

Some disadvantages: the Buchanan YMCA has no pool, no sauna or steam room, and worst of all, no seated leg press. . You may visit another location of the San Francisco YMCA if you would like to use them. The truth about this place has been washed away for hours. Only open until 9 p.m. on weeknights, and close in the early evening hours on weekends. And beware of holidays: They are either closed in the morning, or completely closed for the day.

This is the first San Francisco YMCA, carrying the elegance of old San Francisco, as is evident when you enter the 2nd floor lobby with its grand staircase, lighting, wood and completes the Romanesque columns.

Shi Yu-Lang Central YMCA has a large 3-lane pool in the room, cardio machines, weights; basketball court, dui on the pillow, yoga, Pilates clinic, hanging, sauna, and even a relaxing roof garden. There is also a women’s workout room and sauna just off the block.

The only downside to this place is the neighborhood. There are a lot of homeless people outside and the neighborhood is a bit shady. But this is not a major concern if you are going there during peak hours, where a lot of the people who work there are those who work and live nearby.

If you want to relax and enjoy a quiet place to work, this is the place for you.

This is a place where people can workout without fear. This is not a supermarket, nor a perfect body sculpting, no people in the gym just come to the scene. This place is not too busy and there are many free parking spaces.

Domestic membership is around $100 per month, and there is no contract to sign up. Only $25 setup fee. If you want to visit other San Francisco YMCAs, you can pay $3 a visit.

The Stonestown YMCA has a pool, sauna, and hot tub. They have great equipment and offer aerobics, yoga, pilates, dance classes included. in member The staff are friendly and very helpful.
