There are Any Fitness Health Clubs all over the world. I had never heard from them until they came to Massachusetts. While traveling this summer I saw many Anytime Fitness Clubs. I decided to give it a try after getting a three-day free pass. The location I used is at 138 Industrial Park Road, Plymouth, Massachusetts.
The possibilities are varied. In fact, the manager who took me on the tour the first day said that this place had more art than the others. I will get to that later.
The opportunity is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. However, from 8:00 p.m. at 9:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. at 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays
The way the gym works is that you will have a card with a security pin number that will enable entry into the building when there is no staff. Security cameras are everywhere. When commenting on the area crime he didn’t think was high, the crime manager said the area was necessary for insurance reasons. When I thought about it later, I realized that this area is deserted during non-business hours and I don’t want to work here at 2:00 a.m. no matter how many cameras there are or how quickly the police can get there.
1. In weight training equipment: I always worked around 9:00 a.m. The first day I went to the tour I went early in the afternoon, knowing that it was the quietest time for the gym. There was only one other person and the owner who trained him.
There was a huge amount of weapons. This gymnasium was not large, and the access was not obstructed, when going from the top of the stairs to the gymnasium floor.
The weight of the training equipment was in its original state and 100% of the items were made by Nautius. There was a machine area where I did circuit training and an area with free weights, benches and barbells. There were two dumbbells going up to 90 pounds.
What I found very nice and something I had never seen before was their system of organization. As a (potential) new member I was taken around the machines and set up my settings on the computer. So for example in the pec dec machine (for your chest) the seat was in number 3 and the arms were in number 6. This is done for any machine. When I got to the gym, I went to this computer and scanned my card. There was comfort in every part of the instrument. I entered my code, and my details were there. It’s a really nice trick though and writing your own settings isn’t all that hard to do. In other words, I don’t want to pay for this feature.
2. Cardiovascular equipment: Since Anyone Fitness is small in Plymouth, there were a few treadmills, one treadmill, a few bikes and a step climber. It was certainly sufficient for my needs. he never had to wait, since he was never frequent.
3. Other amenities:
The place is day care beautifully decorated. You will pay $3.00 an hour.
The drinks were cooler. While this time may have been designed for a non-pass, it takes this money which is something I rarely take with me to the gym.
It was a fitness site that was run independently by personal and not Anyone Fitness.
There were no rooms. There were two bathrooms and some lockers outside them. Again the issue is security. Cameras cannot be placed in a box room so that there is not one. The rest of the room is for one person so you can lock yourself in if you don’t need a security camera.
4. Other rooms:
No classes are presented. What they had was a large space with stability balls and a roof. What the manager meant by public art was a large television screen that he chose for me to do various activities. For example one day I did Tae-Bo. In my opinion, this does not even come close to replacing the doctor. If I had a training in Tae-Bo, I could buy a DVD there and do it at home gym.
There was a spinning mill with five spinning wheels. But he was not wise. You will be worried about yourself. I think this was ridiculous. it is the nature of spinning to have an instructor!
5. Price:
There was no special initial fee. The manager told me it was one week, but the next week would be another special one. The usual registration fee is $149 plus $39 a month for taxes. The price goes down for two and a little more for a family or student. I think that a lot of it is really just a place with machines.
My final thoughts:
This place was very beautiful and spotlessly clean. The manager and owner seemed nice but I don’t want to work at Any Opportunity. If all you need is equipment, you can join Planet Fitness for $10 a month! (Perhaps a current promotion).
