The holidays mean a lot of cold weather for a lot of people. Having some hot drinks on hand for holiday celebrations will be a welcome addition to any Christmas or New Year’s gathering this year. We have removed the easy ways from many drinks, hot chocolate, you can make alot there. Make the holidays hotter with something tasty!
Many Drinks
Mulling drinks is made up of just a combination of herbs and spices, and then adding them to the hot drink as it heats up. It is usually a mixture of allspice, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and some lemon zest or cupid. Once it’s soaked, strain the spices and serve.
Mulled Apple Cider and Rum
Combine the spices mentioned above and add apple cider to the pot. Let this mixture heat to a boil for about 5 minutes or so, and then strain. Add a shot of rum and you’re good to go!
Milk wine
Red wine is the way to go for this recipe. pour the wine into the pot and add the stirred spices. Then heat to boil for 5 minutes… Strain and serve.
Shining Buttered Rum
Starting with a gram of sugar in the cup, add 1 oz. rum of your choice and 1/2 oz. butter and cloves to taste. Boil some hot water and pour it into a cup. Stir until the butter is melted and the aroma of cloves is abundant! Yum!
We’ve heard this one before, right? Sometimes these old standbys are just what the doctor ordered. This is a combination of hot water, honey or sugar, lemon juice, and whiskey or brandy, each. they prefer If you like something sweeter, try adding some maple-syrup to the mix.
Hot Chocolate and Peppermint Wood
Who is tired of the combination of chocolate and mint? Heat up your hot chocolate and use a candy cane stick or two to stir it until it melts. .
Hot Chocolate with Cinnamon Orbis
For even more sweetness, you could try adding cinnamon to your hot chocolate sauce, and stir until it melts, as opposed to just sprinkling cinnamon powder on the field.
Hot chocolate with flavored syrup
There are several really great berry flavored syrups you can find at some of the more upscale grocery stores. . I saw strawberry, blackberry, and blueberry to name a few. You can add these to hot hot drinks different from this classic drink.
Hot Chocolate with Filled Chocolates
A friend of mine just suggested this combination for a new twist to drinking hot chocolate. Buy a box of your favorite ice cream, then add these favorites to your hot chocolate. Stir well until melted and enjoy!
