The biggest hit song from the album, Always & It lasted an amazing 43 weeks at the top of the country’s charts. Randy Travis was never able to duplicate the success he had on Forever and Forever, Amen, but the song still stands as one of the greatest country songs of all time.
9 – Excited – Friends In The Lowest Places – Most Excited fans consider Dance as the best song of all time. But this list, like all top ten lists, is based on personal taste, and for me Friends in the Lower Places is the ultimate Carth Brooks song. No other country song song in my story can bring everyone to a party like friends singing in the lower places. Isn’t that a sign of a really great country song?
8 – Patsy Cline – Break In – This song honestly could have been a lot higher on my list of the best country songs of all time, but I left it off the list for variety reasons. 8. Now what other Patsy Cline songs could be on this list. Fatsy Cline is arguably the queen of country and her melodious voice has continually defined the genre from a woman’s perspective.
7 – Tammy Wynette – Stand By Your Man – Back to the female performers on the list of the top 10 country songs of all time. Tammy Wynette might not have the legendary status that Patsy Cline does, but her hit Stand By Your Man is one of the genre’s all-time classics and is still played in country bars and weddings to this day.
6 – Willie Nelson – No list of the best country songs would be complete without at least one song Willie Nelson There were indeed a bunch of Willie Nelson classics to choose from, but I chose this one as the best. From Elvis to Pet Shop Boys this song has been sung by some incredible artists, but the best version will ever belong. to Willie Nelson
5 – Johnny Cash – I Walk the Line – I’m Tempted to Walk Hard by Dewey Cox at this point it is only to be seen what kind of abomination I could generate, but I will remain traditional and pay the man what he owes in Black. Johnny Cash is country music legend and this is the best song.
4. El Paso is fully worthy of inclusion. This song was one of the most popular country music songs of all time, and it was my first favorite song as a kid.
3 – Tennessee Ernie Ford – Sixteen Tons – All jokes about how to lower the genre of music it can be of the peasants, and how the singers always tell how the dog died and the pickup truck broke down. Well, maybe this reputation is due to Ernie Ford’s legendary Tennessee classic, Sixteen Tons. The song is definitely tinged with negativity, but for the most part country music songs is always fun to sing. to
2 – Hank Williams Sr – Cheatin Your Heart – Music fans are getting anxious should be, when the wonder Hank Williams Sr. was to be featured in the list of the best musicians of all time. Like Patsy Cline, Williams could have had more songs on this list, but for the sake of variety I chose only her best. If Patsy Cline is the queen of music then Hank Williams Sr. is most definitely the king.
1 – Patsy Cline – Crazy – As good as Hank Williams Sr. Cheatin’ on Your Heart is, Patsy Cline’s Crazy is in its own genre and is a no brainer for the top spot on the list of top 10 music songs of all time. This raspy voice delivers this country classic with absolute perfection, and although many artists have tried to cover the song, none have come within a country mile of Cline’s original version. Country music is not only the greatest song of all time, but arguably the best song in any genre ever.
