You can never have too many knights and thanks to this small but heavy set from the new Lego Castle site, you have a strong soldier to add to your ranks. This is great for someone who is into a castle theme; It can be added to almost all other Lego themes and has great value. Suggested for kids five and older because of the potential for accidental strangulation, this is a nice little set that can easily be given as a gift, added to a Christmas tree, in an Easter basket or as a reward for good behavior.
Lego Knights of the Castle
Product Number 5615
21 fragments – Century 5 and older
The figure of the knight is made with a double pattern in a blue tone; the shield and crest perfectly match what you see on the bust. I was a little surprised when I came out because I didn’t expect there to be many pieces. A soldier with two different helmets, a long coat, a short sword, a chest plate, armor, and a shield. All the pieces are of a silvery color; While this doesn’t look as good as the metallic armor, it lasts longer, doesn’t lose its shine, and you don’t have to shake it off.
One of the coolest features is the armor rack that can hold a helmet, weapons, sword, helmet and shield. It is out of a box from pieces that takes about five seconds to build but helps keep parts from getting lost. The only downside is that there is only one piece of the shard so you can have either the hair or the sword on display, but not both at the same time. you can solve a problem by adding a few extra pieces if he kills them from others.
The replay value in this is great; with other add-ons you can create different armies or generic military leaders that don’t have a definitive color scheme. or crest shields or clothing. The piece of armor is optional and only takes a few seconds to attach or remove so play time is never interrupted if a fight breaks out and you need to get into gear.
You can buy this set at major retailers that sell Lego products or online at the Lego World Shop. The suggested retail price for this 21 coin set is $3.49 and you’re sure to be getting a great deal on it. The only accessories worth it are just like getting a free soldier. Kids will have a blast with their weapons and adventure components, but to get the most out of this set you’ll need to invest in others in the series.
