Basic Tennis Serve Tips

Having taught tennis clinics over the years and put my childhood on stage, I understand the importance of serving tennis. My students are either caught right away or never. tennis serve will make or break you. This is a basic course of one of the main leadership a tennis player can have.

Basic Tennis Save Strategy #1: Where to Stand

The right foot should be left behind the baseline pointing towards the right post of the net. The right foot is parallel to the baseline a few inches behind the left.

Basic Tennis Serving Tip #2: Grip

The side of the racket should be against you, not the string. Imagine climbing a rope or shaking your hands and lifting your palm in the upper right hand, but not flat on one side. Thumb wrapped around the back of the racket. This is called continental crust.

Basic Tennis Serving Strategy #3: Toss

Hold the ball in the opposite hand. The thumb, index, and middle finger cradle the ball slightly to the side or slightly below. Bring both hands to meet around the belly button, then drop the ball hand (not past your thigh) with your racket hand dips Here the knees should bend slightly if you want more strength.

Slowly lift the ball of your hand and loosen your fingers like a rose. Now put your hands behind your head, pointing close to the ground. The shot should be aimed at the opposite front of the net and the foot in front of you.

Basic Tennis Serving Tip #4: Contact

Extend the racket hand above your head and this is where contact would be made. Try to throw the ball as high as possible, so you have enough time to bring the racket to this point. In a basic tennis serve, the racket must meet the ball in the middle of the strings.

Basic Tennis Serve Tip #5: Follow Through

After connecting with the ball, the racket should be tilted to the left of your legs (to the right of the hand). Practicing the tennis serve will perfect this skill.

Your right foot slides across the baseline after you hit the ball. Rolling your foot across the baseline before you hit the ball will result in a “foot fault” and result in a loss of one serve. Although this is an unusual occurrence, try to stand further away from the base if you have problems with it.

There are many different types of tennis, such as slicing and topspin, but it will do well to serve basic projects. Remember that your purpose is to first serve your land, then you will not have to use the second service. But if you need to, when hitting your second serve, it’s best to take some of his power away to get it in. Always remember to warm up before tennis, even for practice!
