Mixed drinks are an essential part of a summer beach tradition. Sitting on the beach or by the pool is a great mixed drink that you do in the summer. If you are on low or no carb, you may think that not many people are low carb. mixed carb drinks This is different. Lower Carb Mixed Drink #1: Sugar Free Mojitos
A mojito doesn’t have to be your diet this summer! One of the low carb mixed drinks this summer is a simple sugar-free mojito you can make yourself. Simply rub mint leaves with Splenda sweetness and juice of half a lime. Add water, ice, and rum, and you’ve got a low carb mix right there.
Carb Mixed Drink #2: Low Carb Classic Cosmo
One low carb mixed drink that is absolutely delicious is the Classic Cosmo Low Carb. Start with strawberry flavored rum and a splash of cranberry juice. Quadruped juice contains carbs so make sure to use only a small amount. Add settzer water to the mix and here you have a BEAUTIFUL fruity drink.
No carb mixed drinks #3: Diet Coke and Rum
I have to drink my rum and Coke. But Rum and Coke is loaded with carbs. Simply substitute “Coke” for “Coke Zero” and you have a very delicious no carb. You can also use diet Coke or any other diet cola of your choice.
No Carb Mix #4: Sugar Free Hard Lemonade
Mike Ferreus Lemonade was my favorite drink until I read the nutrition label. Hard lemonade is full of carbs in the form of sugar. But you can get sugar free lemonade and have a spike with some vodka, sugar free hard lemonade. My favorite sugar free lemonade is available at Chick-fil-A.
Low Carb Mixed Drinks #5: Sugar Free Long Island Tea RESTRICTED
If you love your long island iced teas, you can make it sugar free! Simply take iced tea sweet Splenda and add vodka to it. There are no great mixed carb drinks that you can enjoy in the sun.
Being on a low-carb diet doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy alcohol. Stick to cleaning and brown hard liquor and avoid liquids that contain syrup, sugar or cream and you’ll be fine.
