Cure Bad Denture Breath

Do not attempt this if there is any metal in your denture or the metal will permanently blacken. Don’t do it if he has porcelain teeth too.

When I was practicing dentistry, sometimes a patient would come in with a bad denture and it smelled horrible. When I picked up the toothpick and brought it to my lips I almost vomited from the smell. I want you to know what I did to completely remove the smell in one second for about ten cents. First, because of the metal problem, I want to explain a few things.

Full dentures are made with acrylic (polymethylmethacrylate) for the pink or brown (can be shaded with different pigment colors) gingival area. Even acrylic or possibly porcelain teeth can be made. Murine’s teeth are slightly sharper on the chewing surface and they click loudly. Murrina’s teeth have a copper plate hidden by what the acrylic gums hang on. This will take some time to study the copper, but it will be much faster if you clean your teeth with my short brush.

Fill the cup with Clorox or similar. It can be pure or diluted up to 10%. You only need enough to pour around the teeth when you pour into the cup. Immediately all the bacteria that caused the odor are killed and you can wash the denture and it smells a little like Clorox and not the bacteria and fungus (yeast) that was growing on it.

The worst smelling dentures I’ve seen were from people who never removed them (sometimes for years). It will be convenient to take them out while they are asleep, and to wet them in the bath of the teeth, or in any vessel with water. Commercial cleaners aren’t essential, but they do a nice job. The minimum you should do is to clean your teeth at least once a day and use a toothbrush or tooth brush and everything inside and wipe outside, even if it’s just a sound with water and don’t ever dwell too much on the smell.

Don’t let your teeth ever dry out. When acrylic dentures dry overnight, they often warp and cannot be used again. Leave it in a container with water or water plus teeth washed and wash it in water in the morning and store it in. Many people leave the denture on overnight. In this case you will clean at least once a day, as we have already said.

If you have stuttering with your denture because you have never used this denture before then you have a problem with how the denture was made and you should read my article about it. This is what I have noticed with several movie stars and narrators. you can hear the problem at the same time as they say Mishishippi instead of Mississippi. For that is what I had those who said, to prove what I was doing to them.

A break in the corners of your mouth with a moist pink area inside the crack is often caused by yeast in the living fold that could be caused by a denture that allows your mouth to close a little further. That may be something in another article in the future.
