Like most people I have a funny side and a serious side. For that reason I am providing some serious Father’s Day card messages, and a few more on the funny or lighter side. I hope you enjoy them and find one you can use.

** I know that you already know this, but it is worth telling you again today. You are the best Father in the world and I love you for everything you have done for me. I am proud to call you my Father! I love you.
** You where the one who kissed my hurts away and made everything right again in my world. You were the one who made the rules and I had to stick to them. You were the first one there when I needed help with anything. In the end I couldn’t help you, there was nothing I could do to save you. You are with God now and I will place this card on your grave so all who visit will know how much I love and miss you. Happy Father’s Day in Heaven.
** Everyday I think to myself, I have to remember to tell my Dad now much I love him. So even though I may not say it to you, I do think of you every day Dad and I love you. Happy Dad’s Day!
** This Father’s Day I want to thank you for raising me to be a confident person; strong and secure in knowing who I am and what I want out of life. Without your guidance, support, understanding and love I don’t know who I would have become. Thanks for being my Dad.
** I didn’t always like your rules. I didn’t like the fact you made me do chores. I didn’t agree with many things you told me to do ‘for my own good’. I didn’t like that I was the only kid who didn’t have her own car. I didn’t want to go to college, but you made me go. Now it’s time to tell you the truth. I am glad you made me follow the rules, earn my own car, do things for my own good and go to college – I am glad that you loved me enough to give me rules to follow. ** It’s hard for me to find the right words – so I’ll just tell you that I love you everyday – not just on Father’s Day.

Funny
** Today is your day, don’t worry about anything. You don’t have to do a thing, I will take you to dinner, buy you a lot of expensive gifts, and I’ll even bake you a three-layer cake. Anything for you on your special day. Oh, wait, I forgot something, just one more thing – Can I borrow your credit card, please???
** I thought about buying you a shirt, but that’s been done. I thought about buying you a tie, but without a new shirt what good is a new tie. I thought about buying you a new lazy chair, but you just got a new one last month. I thought about buying you a gift certificate from your favorite sporting good store, but they went out of business. If I keep thinking long enough Father’s Day will be over and then that shirt and tie that I didn’t buy would start looking pretty good, right?
** I baked you a cake for Father’s Day. I spent a lot of time writing your name on the cake and it looked so nice. Then the cat jumped up and landed right in the middle of it. So for Father’s Day instead of the beautiful cake I planned to give you I am giving you my cat instead. You better give him a bath since he has frosting from head to toe. (Good luck with that!) Have a good one Dad!
** I heard a rumor that on Father’s Day I am supposed to give you a gift. You got your gift the day I was born….so do I still have to buy you something? Love ya!
** A card, a gift – do you think I’m made of money…Hey, close that refrigerator door Dad, are you trying to cool the whole house? Why, because I said so! Now go ask Mom…Have a Happy Father’s Day Daddy.
