Jamaica Themed Party Favors for Adults

Are you in the process of planning a Jamaican themed party for your family and friends? Do you already see what items you want to use as your favorite party? If not, you might want to take a quick look at a few of my party ideas favorites. Here they are:

Cocoes Gizzadas

If you want to give your guests an authentic Jamaican treat, you might consider whipping up a batch of gizzard coconuts. Coconut gizzards are actually coconut tarts. Tartars are traditionally made with grated coconut, grated nutmeg and brown sugar. You can find a whole sour recipe available online. When all your tarts are made of coconut, I suggest putting each one inside a whiskey box. I also recommended that you go with a cup box with a window and decorate the island with ornaments. That way, your guests will be able to see what’s inside the boxes without them having to open them. Island-themed decorations to consider include replicas of the Jamaican flag, miniature seashells, sand dollars and palm leaves.

Candied Fruit

Or rather empty coconut treats? If so, you might want to think about giving your guests fruit instead of candied fruit. Candidate fruits are often sold through specialty stores, restaurant operators and grocery stores. Examples of candidate fruits that are ideal for a party theme include pine nuts, scabies, naseberries and papayas. I would like to wrap the candidate apples inside the banana leaves. You can typically buy banana leaves through specialty shops and choose packages for a small fee. You’ll also want to place the raffia pack in place to tie the banana leaves in place. The raffia packages are available for purchase through the largest Craft Stores.

Homemade Jerk Seasoning

I think bottles of homemade condiments would make great favors. If you’ve never tried homemade sauce before, there are a variety of recipes available that can prove informative. I would also suggest putting your own homemade blend inside individual bulk spice bottles that come with a personalized label. You can typically buy empty bottles of spices by the package for a small fee. One company that sells spice bottles and tins is SKS Bottle and Packaging, Inc. As far as labels go, you can make your own with the help of a home computer and printer. Consider using graphics on your labels that include the shape of Jamaica and an image of the country’s flag.

Tropical Silver Cell Phone Charms

Last but not least, Tropic Silver Cell Phone is a good Thanksgiving party favor too. A 1.25 inch tall charm that I know features silver palm trees and a metal disc. Often the metal disc can be customized for an additional fee. On average, each palm candy will cost you $1 per party caterer like Shindigz.
