Michelina’s Lean Gourmet TV Dinners Vs. Weight Watchers TV Dinners

As many of you know, I work from home writing for Associated Content. You may think that this leaves me all the time in the world to make a homemade lunch each day, but since I write full-time, this isn’t the case. I only take 30 minutes to an hour for lunch. This means I rarely have time to fix a homemade meal. Being a health conscious person, I want food that is not only fast, but healthy as well. This means that I usually prepare a TV dinner for lunch. Throughout the years I’ve tried several different brands of TV dinners, but two brands that caught my eye were Michelina’s Lean Gourmet and Weight Watchers. If you’re a Weight Watchers member, you may think that this is the only TV dinner that lists the point’s value on the package, but you’d be wrong. The following comparison discusses the positive and negative sides of each brand.

Michelina’s Lean Gourmet TV Dinners vs. Weight Watchers TV Dinners: Point’s Value

As I mentioned above, both brands display the point’s value on their packaging. This makes it extremely easy for Weight Watchers members to quickly choose a meal for lunch, without having to calculate the point’s value. When it comes to the point’s value of each brand, both seem to have around the same amount of points.

Michelina’s Lean Gourmet TV Dinners vs. Weight Watchers TV Dinners: Choices

It may just be the store that I shop at, but Michelina’s Lean Gourmet meals seems to come in several more varieties than the Weight Watchers brand. Michelina’s Lean Gourmet meals come in varieties ranging from spaghetti with meat sauce to barbeque chicken with cheesy mashed potatoes. There is literally something for everyone.

Michelina’s Lean Gourmet TV Dinners vs. Weight Watchers TV Dinners: Flavor

Hands down Michelina’s Lean Gourmet meals have the best flavor. Weight Watchers TV dinners really don’t have any flavor whatsoever. Michelina’s Lean Gourmet TV dinners actually taste like real food, rather than low calorie food. Weight Watchers meals are bland and flavorless.

Michelina’s Lean Gourmet TV Dinners vs. Weight Watchers TV Dinners: Which Is More Filling?

Both brands are really small, but the Michelina’s Lean Gourmet TV dinners seem to be more filling than the Weight Watchers brand. It may be because they use whole wheat pasta and more vegetables in many of the varieties. Whatever the reason, Michelina’s Lean Gourmet TV dinners will keep your satisfied.

Michelina’s Lean Gourmet TV Dinners vs. Weight Watchers TV Dinners: Price

When it comes to price, you can usually find Michelina’s Lean Gourmet TV dinners for around $1. Weight Watchers brand costs around $2. You’d be crazy not to choose Michelina’s Lean Gourmet TV dinners. Not only are they more affordable, they also taste better and are more filling.
