Product Review: Zicam Cold Remedy

Well, it’s cold and weather in my country, and I thought I’d share a great new product with you. Zicam Cold Remedy has hit the market recently and, in my opinion, it’s nothing short of amazing. I have never had a cold remedy product that worked so well in my time of trouble.

First, let me give you a very brief history of medicine. I am very prone to getting the common cold as I work at a top school with close to 4000 students. I meet many of these students every day, so my chances of reading unwanted seeds quadruple compared to the average person. And since I am ill, he is not here so much today, and I have been gone for two days. I get marathon colds that seem to last for ages! In addition, I get sinus infections easily. I’m not sure if it’s just the way my body reacts, but I can’t stand and try/do just about anything to release the pressure in my head.

I saw commercials on television for a new product called Zicam that was supposed to fight your cold and help you get over it faster. In fact, they claimed to reduce the duration of the cold by 3 times! I decided to give it a shot because nothing else has ever worked. I was a little surprised that a small bottle of Zicam cost over $10. But, I was desperate as usual, and ended up buying it anyway. Glad I did!

Zicam started working immediately. My nose started to clear and the pressure in my head didn’t seem to be so bad. I kept the Zicam as ordered and the cold never got worse! As a matter of fact I managed to take about 3 days! Not only did it keep Zika from getting worse, it actually shortened the period of time considerably. I was amazed!

Zicam comes in a few different forms. I used to use a squirt bottle that you put in your nose and “inject” the liquid. I know, it sounds gross, but it works! Other ways to take it are in tablet and swab form that you can also use in your nose. I haven’t tried the others, but the nasal gel had a really great effect when I took it. Zicam recommends the medication first in the sign of a cold. So if you start to feel tired or nauseous, grab yourself some Zicam and take it right away.

The instructions say to take it every 4 hours, and to continue using it for up to 48 hours after the symptoms subside. I was surprised how much liquid there was in the small bottle you get, but it really does last a while. I probably took it for a good 2 weeks before I needed a new bottle. Yes, it’s a bit expensive compared to other remedies, but that’s what you get in my opinion! Next time you feel like you have a cold, take Zica. Is working!
