Several weeks ago I had a really bad mouse problem. I found that there were little critters in my cupboards where I stored boxes of rice and bags of beans. I saw where they gnawed their way into pockets and boxes, and left their droppings. Not unless my system is targeted by various casinos. They entered the room, and I heard noises in the night, but I did not know whence they came. One night I heard screeching sounds coming from my dresser drawer. I opened my carrier to find a mass of confetti that used to be college papers.
I was at a loss as to what to do, because I have concerns. I couldn’t leave poison around me because of fear of my cat or dog. I was also afraid of mouse traps fearing that they would hurt my babies. I decided to try D-Con around the mouse trap. It was easy under the boat. It’s easy to read the directions. I put peanut butter where the bat comes out, but you can smell the mouse with cheese or other treats. to go out
The D-Con no touch round mouse trap is really a no see no tang mouse trap. It is published as it works. I am a fastidious sailor when it comes to killing animals, even if those animals are pests, but not seeing them makes it easier. We use this mouse trap easily; You only feed and twist as soon as you apply. When you are caught with a mouse in the mousetrap, you will be warned in the head of the mousetrap. When the trap is set correctly the index will say “set” and when a mouse is caught in the device it will say “mouse caught”.
The D-Con is a no-nonsense, no-touch wall trap that’s a little expensive. Two traps come per package; I bought mine at Walgreens Pharmacy for about $5. It’s a one-use product, but it’s worth it if you want to get rid of the mouse without seeing or touching it. I put the recipes in the trash outside the receptacle, and the mouse was gone. Apparently I only had two mice, so I bought two traps and worked like a charm. I have not seen mice since then. I found the mouse the safest way and keep my dog and cat out of harm’s way. I advise everyone to use these traps with care, but still use safety precautions. I gave the cupboards to the nurse to keep my cat from opening. I doubt the cat could hurt me with this trap, but I didn’t want to take the chance. I have nothing but good things to say about the D-Con, don’t touch the mouse trap.
