It’s not uncommon for men to think they have a small penis, it’s actually a very common fear. They think they cannot father any children, they cannot satisfy their partner, and it leads to all forms of poor self-esteem and depression. Because of this fear, many men turn to a plethora of pills and devices to increase penis size. The FDA has not approved any of them, as they either don’t work (if you’re lucky), or they cause damage, including but not limited to: erectile dysfunction or scar tissue.
Really, the only true way to increase penis size is by surgery. Unfortunately, the surgery sometimes also leads to erectile dysfunction, but it is much less often than the other methods. Normally done only for those with micropenis, a doctor should never perform this operation (nor should anyone do it) purely for cosmetic reasons.
Now, before getting into the many devices and what damage they can cause, let’s talk about satisfying you male or female partner. With homosexual couples, the prostate is not that far into the anus, so it is quite easy to satisfy with even a 5 inch penis. The myth that all homosexual men are obsessed with penis size is just that, a myth. Obviously those people are around, but they are honestly the minority.
Women, on the other hand, follow a similar rule. For vaginal sex average amount of room in the women without touching the cervix (which can cause quite a lot of pain) is about 6 inches. Does that mean that being either the 5 or 7 inch size is bad? No, for people who are 5 inches you are still hitting most of the nerve endings and can just as easily please your partner. For 7 inchers, you may not be able to go all the way in, but taking some caution, you can satisfy and not hurt your partner.
Again, there are some women who are obsessed with penis size and want the “challenge,” but this is usually rare.
Now, devices and methods.
The least destructive is the penis pump. This is usually used for erectile dysfunction, is it does force blood into the penis. A few minutes after use the pump may make you appear larger, but it quickly goes down and the effects are not permanent. Over use can lead to scar formation, so if you are on this for medical reasons do not exceed what you are told to do.
Many pills and lotions contain an array of vitamins, minerals, and hormones. Thus far, none have been proven to work, and anyone foolish enough to take these “remedies” can prepare for just as large an array of problems.
Jelqing (a technique where, using hand over hand, you squeeze blood from the base to the head), leads quickly to scar tissue. It is usually safer, but there is no proof this works either. So what you gain, if anything, isn’t worth the high possibility of scars.
Lastly, stretching with weights. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE IDEA! NEVER DO THIS TO YOURSELF! You risk so much damage, your penis never working again, so much scar tissue, this is one of the worst things you can do.
The truth of the matter is though that most people do have normal penis sizes. Flaccid, the penis is normally about 3 to 4 inches. When erect, the normal ranges are 5 to 7 inches. Unless you have the condition named micropenis, where even erect you are only 3 inches are less, you are most likely in the normal range.
So don’t bother with increasing your size, it’s not worth any of the side effects. The degradation, the scaring, the ED, none of it is worth it.
