As pollutant chemicals find their way into our body tissue from the food we eat, water we drink, pharmaceutical drugs we take, products we use, and the air we breathe, they take a toll on our cleansing system and leave us feeling tired, lethargic, and in need of a thorough cleansing.
Yogi Detox Tea is an ideal way to get those chemicals out and purify your body.
I started using Yogi Detox Tea just a month ago when it was recommended to me by a friend. I had eaten fast food on a semi-daily basis since I was a kid, and had just gotten into drinking tea and eating healthy about a year before. I drink green tea and take vitamin c, and started taking multivitamins and eating vegetables and fruits on a daily basis. I felt so much better having changed my diet, but I still had a feeling deep inside that all the years of greasy fast food and soda were still there, and I didn’t feel clean at all. Add to that my life in a polluted urban area in California, where I’ve spent a lot of time sitting in traffic breathing in exhaust fumes, and you can start to realize how badly I wanted to detoxify my body.
I was looking for something to help take the years of bad food toxins out of my body so I could feel clean from the inside out, but I wanted something gentle and natural. But initially I couldn’t find anything that suited me. I researched and found a lot of harsh, unnatural cleansing chemicals that came with a ton of warning advisories and overdose information. They promised to cleanse the entire body and flush out everything through the colon, but how could I be sure the chemicals I would be putting in be even worse than the ones to be taken out? And on top of that, these chemicals were outrageously expensive, sometimes as much as $50 for a single bottle!
It was around this time that a friend told me about Yogi Detox Tea. She explained that she had taken it for a few days and experienced a better overall well-being within a few days. She said it was all-natural, which I liked, and that it was dirt cheap, and gave me a few extra tea bags to get me started. She warned me that the first few times I used it I would have to use the bathroom soon after, so I planned to stay close to home for my first try. I was so relieved that I had found something that was natural and mild enough to get the bad stuff out of my system; I didn’t want to try any harsh product but I probably would have if I hadn’t been provided an alternative. I was excited and wanted to get started right away.
Before I went to make a cup, I read the back of the bag wrapper: “no harsh laxatives or diuretics-mild enough to be used every day for up to 30 days.” Perfect! I brewed a cup and waited for it to cool down, then I drank the cup down. A good hour went by before I had to make a bathroom run. It wasn’t bad. But I had a busy night of frequent bathroom runs after I drank a second cup, so obviously something was happening.
The next day I brewed another cup, and the bathroom breaks continued. But the day after, all seemed back to normal, and I didn’t have to use the bathroom as frequently anymore. I kept drinking it daily until I ran out of bags, which was about a week after the first night. And I noticed some significant changes. My body didn’t make as many noises as it had before. I felt lighter in the stomach and my mind seemed clearer. My breathing seemed smoother, and I had more energy at night and stayed up later than usual. I felt like I had a clean slate for the first time in my entire life, and I loved the feeling.
I have since ordered my own box of Yogi Detox Tea and enjoy a cup every now and then to keep myself clean and pure from the inside out. If I eat fast food or a greasy hamburger or sit in traffic for too long, I come home and brew myself a cup to get rid of all the bad chemicals. I love the taste and effect so much that I may even make it a weekend ritual-Sunday nights with a warm glass of Yogi Detox Tea.
I sometimes use two bags instead of one for a more potent effect, and I sweeten each cup with half a packet of artificial sweetener. It’s caffeine free, which I love, and Yogi Tea will refund your money in full if you don’t love their product.
The taste is, surprisingly, delicious. As it is a detox tea, I expected a bitter, somewhat odd taste. But it has a light, fruity taste that is sweet enough to drink even without sweetener. It’s got a strong scent and smells the room nicely too. It might be one of my favorite flavors of tea overall, and is a real pleasure to drink.
It has a wide array of herbs to help your body flush out toxins. It has burdock and dandelion to eliminate impurities, and Indian sarsaparilla and juniper berry to aid healthy liver and kidney function. In all, it contains 21 herbs: Indian Sarsaparilla Root, Organic Cinnamon Bark, Organic Ginger Root, Licorice Root, Burdock Root, Organic Dandelion Root, Organic Cardamom Seed, Organic Clove Bud, Organic Black Pepper, Juniper Berry Extract, Long Pepper Berry, Chinese Amur Cork Tree Bark, Japanese Honeysuckle Flower, Forsythia Fruit, Gardenia Flower, Skullcap Root, Black Cohosh Root, Chinese Goldenthread Root, Rhubarb Root, Wax Gourd, and Asian Psyllium Seed.
Suggested use is 1 to 3 cups per day for up to 30 days. Don’t drink more than 10 cups per day, as such a large amount in a short period of time could lead to adverse effects.
Highly recommended for anyone in serious need of a delicious detoxification.
